Game Server Engine ProudNet Partners with Casual Game Developer XOGAMES for Multiplayer Game Dev

ProudNet and XOGAMES announced on September 30 that they have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on the development of casual multiplayer games.


Through this agreement, the two companies plan to cooperate in various areas, including:

* Development of multiplayer-based game content utilizing ProudNet

Joint research and development of game networking technologies

Enhancement of content development technologies and information exchange

Establishing further cooperative relations for mutual growth


ProudNet is the developer of the multiplayer-optimized server engine ProudNet, which has been adopted in over 200 games across 19 countries, including the United States, Korea, and Japan. With its accumulated technological expertise, ProudNet provides game developers with optimized server solutions featuring high performance, stability, flexibility, and scalability.


XOGAMES is a casual multiplayer game development studio founded in 2016 by CEO Yeom Eui-joon, a multiplayer expert who previously served as an executive at global mobile gaming company King.com (a subsidiary of Activision Blizzard) and The Tetris Company in the U.S. Recognized for its global capabilities as a graduate of Google Indie Accelerator and the first cohort of the Changgu Program, XOGAMES has developed cross-platform multiplayer titles such as Squid War and Papadillo Go!.


ProudNet CEO Choi Sung-won stated, “Based on our stable and efficient network engine technology, ProudNet continues to take on new challenges with a variety of partners. This agreement marks an important step toward developing competitive multiplayer games in the global market.”


XOGAMES CEO Yeom Eui-joon added, “The combination of ProudNet’s outstanding network engine technology and XOGAMES’ cross-platform development expertise will deliver new experiences. We will continue to expand our cooperation to bring gamers differentiated fun and value.”


Following this agreement, the two companies plan to hold working-level discussions, establish detailed business plans, and officially begin joint activities in the fourth quarter of this year.
